I’m jumping back into this season after 3 months of maternity leave, and it is good to be back to work! My husband and I welcomed our daughter, Rosetta Josephine, on February 15th and she is doing wonderfully.

Thank you to all of my past clients that cheered me on and congratulated me while pregnant! It wasn’t easy working while nauseated and carrying 20 (ok 30) extra pounds, but it was much easier with all of the love from my awesome clients. I can’t thank you all enough.

Thanks for stopping by the blog! I haven’t updated it in a long while, and I wanted to give you all a reason as to why.

Back in June of this year, during the busiest part of the wedding season, my husband Matt and I found out that we were expecting our first baby! We were absolutely overjoyed and completely surprised by how fast we got pregnant. (I was told it would take me years… it happened in about 3 weeks.)

This picture sums up my surprise, haha!

Also, right around this time, my friend Serena and I launched Charm City Wed, a wedding inspiration blog and vendor guide for the Baltimore area. Launching and running Charm City Wed turned out to be a lot more work than I had expected, but has been incredibly rewarding and I love running it with Serena!



Charm City Wed and working continuously on weddings has kept me busy, along with moving, and of course, being pregnant and preparing for the arrival of our little girl. I am trying desperately to hop back on the horse and blog / Facebook / Tweet again regularly, so bear with me!

Currently, I’m gearing up for the arrival of our baby girl in February of next year and getting prepped for the 2013 season. I’ll be back to work limitedly in March and full time in April, so if you’re looking for a hairstylist from April on, please contact me!
